Sonos Upgrade Programme Terms and Conditions

Programme Description

The Sonos Upgrade Programme (the "Upgrade Programme") begins on or about 10 July 2026, at 12:00:01 am CET and will end 17 July 2026, at 11:59:59 pm BST (the “Promotional Period”). Customers who own Qualifying Products (as defined below) are eligible to receive a discount coupon for use with a new Sonos product on http://www.sonos.com, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions specified below (the “Discount Credit”). By participating in the Upgrade Programme, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Sonos, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiaries and Sonos' designated representatives, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Any information or instructions published by Sonos, Inc., with its registered offices at 301 Coromar Drive, Goleta, CA 93117, or its wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Sonos”) about the Upgrade Programme form part of the Terms and Conditions.

Sonos may update, modify, suspend or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion, or end the Upgrade Programme, by revising the “Last Update” date at the top of this Upgrade Programme page and by posting a notification of such update, modification, suspension, termination or ending at https://www.sonos.com/legal/upgrade-terms.

Eligibility

Only legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, and the District of Columbia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Guernsey, Croatia, Jersey, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Romania, Slovenia, Czechia, Portugal and Slovakia (collectively, the “Territories”) who, at the time of participation in the Upgrade Programme, are 1) located in one of the Territories and 2) are eighteen (18) years of age or older are eligible to participate in the Upgrade Programme and redeem a Discount Credit. The Upgrade Programme is void where prohibited. If a Qualifying Product has previously been upgraded and a Discount Credit was issued for such product, it is not eligible for Discount Credits and no additional Discount Credits will be issued for the product.

How It Works

  1. Visit https://www.sonos.com/upgrade to learn about the programme.
  2. Sign into your Sonos account (“Your Account”) on https://www.sonos.com.
  3. View the products registered to your account in the System tab. Qualifying Products that are eligible for the Upgrade Programme will be clearly marked under Your Account, indicating the Discount Credit level that will be applied to your future purchase. Navigate to the Upgrade tab within Your Account, and follow the instruction steps for each Qualifying Product. You will be directed to accept these Terms & Conditions in order to receive your Discount Credit.
  4. Your Discount Credit and the amount of your discount will be reflected and available for use anytime you are logged into the “My Account” section of sonos.com.

Qualifying Products

The following Sonos products, that have not previously gone through the Trade Up and/or Upgrade Programme, (“Qualifying Products”) are eligible for a Discount Credit:

  • ARC
  • ROAM
  • ROAM SL
  • SUB GEN 1
  • SUB GEN 2
  • SUB GEN 3
  • MOVE
  • BEAM GEN 1
  • ONE GEN 2
  • ONE GEN 1
  • ONE SL
  • CR200
  • PLAY:1
  • PLAY:3
  • PLAY:5, GEN 1, and GEN 2
  • PLAYBAR
  • PLAYBASE
  • CONNECT
  • CONNECT:AMP
  • BRIDGE, BR100

Exclusions

During the Promotional Period, the Discount Credit may not be redeemed towards the purchase of Sonos Play, Sonos Ace (White), Era 100 SL, Certified Refurbished products and select Speaker Sets. Additionally, in the United States, the District of Columbia, and Mexico, the Discount Credit may not be redeemed towards Ray and Era 100.

The following Speaker Sets are not eligible for redemption using the Discount Credit during the Promotional Period:

  • Era 100 and Sonos Play Set
  • Era 100 SL Pair
  • Sonos Play Pair
  • Sonos Ace (White) Pair
  • Sonos Ace (Mixed) Pair
  • Personal Entertainment Set with Ray (White)
  • Personal Entertainment Set with Ray excluded in the United States, the District of Columbia, Canada and Mexico only
  • Personal Entertainment Set with Beam (White)
  • Personal Entertainment Set with Arc Ultra (White)
  • Premium Personal Entertainment Set with Arc Ultra (White)

Discount Credit

Following agreement to the Upgrade Programme Terms and Conditions, you will receive a Discount Credit in the “My Account” section of sonos.com.

Customers who redeem a CR200, PLAY:5 GEN1 product or certain CONNECT (including ZP80 and ZP90) or CONNECT:AMP (including ZP100 and ZP120) models will receive a Discount Credit equal to 30% off any one (1) regular priced product at sonos.com, with some product restrictions indicated below. Customers who redeem an ARC, ROAM, ROAM SL, SUB GEN1, SUB GEN2, SUB GEN3, MOVE, BEAM GEN1, ONE GEN1, ONE GEN2 ONE SL, PLAY:1, PLAY:3, PLAY:5 GEN2, PLAYBAR, PLAYBASE, BRIDGE product, or certain CONNECT or CONNECT:AMP models will receive a Discount Credit equal to 30% off any one (1) regular priced product at sonos.com, with some product restrictions indicated below.

MODEL NUMBERS ARE NOT INDICATED EXTERNALLY ON CONNECT AND CONNECT:AMP PRODUCTS. TO VERIFY THE APPLICABLE DISCOUNT CREDIT, YOU CAN LOG IN TO MY ACCOUNT AT SONOS.COM AND VIEW THE APPLICABLE DISCOUNT ON THE SYSTEM OR UPGRADE TAB OR BY CONTACTING SONOS CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

The Discount Credit is valid only at http://www.sonos.com and will not expire until used. The Discount Credit is single-use and may only be activated once per Qualifying Products. The Discount Credit cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount or special pricing and may not be used on gift cards, refurbished products or third-party products.

General Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Upgrade Programme, you agree that Sonos (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and is hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Upgrade Programme and (B) has not made any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to your Sonos Device following your agreement to the terms and conditions for receiving a Discount Credit.

Sonos reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the Upgrade Programme or the operation of any Discount Credit or http://www.sonos.com, to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Upgrade Programme, or to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person, and Sonos reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

In the event Sonos is prevented from issuing Discount Credits or managing and implementing the Upgrade Programme as contemplated herein by any event beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, storm, flood, earthquake, explosion, accidents, public disorders, civil unrest, disease outbreak, sabotage, acts of terrorism, acts of war (declared or undeclared), labour shortages, riots, or acts of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sonos’s control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sonos shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Upgrade Programme.

Any personal information collected in connection with the Upgrade Programme will be used in accordance with Sonos’s Privacy Statement located at www.sonos.com/legal/privacy.

ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION, AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITION OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS OR SONOS IN CONNECTION WITH THE UPGRADE PROGRAMME SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE'S LAWS. YOUR LOCAL CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS MAY APPLY. SONOS DOES NOT IN ANY WAY RESTRICT THE RIGHTS THAT YOU MAY HAVE UNDER SUCH LAWS.

By participating in the Upgrade Programme, you understand and agree that you shall have no right to enjoin or restrain the development, production, advertising, promotion, distribution, or exploitation of the Upgrade Programme, or any other business or project of Sonos.

Except where prohibited, by participating in the Upgrade Programme, you agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Upgrade Programme shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action and exclusively by arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (i.e. only costs associated with participating in the Upgrade Program), but shall not include attorney’s fees under any circumstances; and (c) you hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is deemed to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the balance of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid or illegal provision, or the invalid or illegal portion of a provision, were not contained herein.

These Terms and Conditions will be posted on https://www.sonos.com/legal/upgrade-terms during the Promotional Period and for at least six (6) weeks thereafter.
