Sonos Beam TV dialogue sync problems

Hi, grateful for any help with my sonos beam please. I only recently bought it and it's driving my wife and I crazy. It's echoing around every 10 mins or so. It usually only lasts for around 30 seconds and then corrects itself. I can also correct it by using the reset button in the TV Dialogue Synch settings in the app.

Five Mount from Ceiling Beam

I want to get a Five, but I need to be able to mount it to a wooden ceiling beam. Basically, I can install screws straight upwards, but will still have the Five angled as though it’s on a traditional wall mount (as opposed to facing straight down from the ceiling). Is there a mount that will let me do this?

Era 100 for a 25 square mt covered terrace

Good afternoon (its 16,45 pm here in Italy) , we have a B&B in a countryside area with a sea view where in the shared living room there are installed 2 Ikea Symphonisk Frames, I paired them on stereo L and R mode, using that with Apple Music , scheduling the music (with Sonos app alert) is really nice and all guest appreciate a lot , listening mostly famous cover in a jazzed mood with a 13% volume, so very soft music ..actually we have a large covered terrace about 28 mq (7mt x 4mt) (no windows just opened covered terrace) next to the shared living room (between living room and terrace there are large windows that we keep usually close so you can't ear music when u are in terrace) and I wanted to spread the same music and same scheduling in the terrace installing an Era 100 , do you think it is will be fine and the sound? will be decent? I will install the Speaker in the center of the terrace put on the wall so people will ear it from back. And as last only humidity and

How many Sonos ceiling speakers do I need for an open room that is 12 feet by 30 ft?

Hello,I just purchased the 8” In-Ceiling Set and the 8” In-Ceiling Speakers by Sonos and Sonance (Pair). The basement room that I purchased it for is an open room that is approximately 30ft by 13ft. I plan to have all 4 of the speakers installed in this room, questions:Is 4x 8in Sonos speakers too must for this room size? Am I ok to use 12 gauge speaker wire? Any other advise would be greatly appreciated?Thank You

Era 300 x2 bluetooth playback dropout and other issues

I have 2x Era 300 in one room. There are very annoying issues:Bluetooth playback from the phone 2m away is dropping one channel, restoring the next second Playback from windows media library is only able to play one song in the folder, then I have to manually advance. Playlists are needed, but there is no possibility to add those into any sort of playlist! Playback from windows media library - can’t play FLAC files, error 701.

I have the original Sonos move and I want to add the move 2 and play my music through both speakers . What is the best way to do this . I tried earlier with the move 2 being added and I lost connection with the original move in my Sonos App thanks

In or Out: Sonos Windows Music Library Sharing (SonosLibraryService)?

Years back Sonos introduced “their own” Windows Music Library Sharing (disambiguation: the SonosLibraryService) as part of the Windows Desktop client. I believe this was rolled out shortly after S2 arrived, at the time when many of us were highlighting the awkward reliance on SMBv1. SonosLibraryService creates a Sonos-only HTTP (or is it HTTPS?) share, tho’ don’t quote me on that. In any case, this solution works easy-peasy.So amongst the breaking “thou shall not use SMBv1 or HTTP!” brouhaha, the QUESTION is “IN or OUT” for SonosLibraryService on a forward going basis?And if the answer is “IN”—which would be copacetic from my perspective—how will SonosLibraryService be installed/updated given that the Windows Desktop Client is being taken out and shot?

Spectrum Router dropping speakers

I just purchased and did initial setup of my first Sonos speakers 🎶 They worked, but then some of the products started not showing up in System. I reached out to support and it’s the known router issue (SAX1V1S). a few questions…They speakers are all currently displaying in my system. will they continue to randomly drop off? (the more important question)… I’m nervous about getting a router and connecting it to the current spectrum modem and having it work with Spectrum, and with Sonos. Can anyone recommend one they’ve gotten that has been successful, and can you share your process with the setup?Thank you!

Large Sonos system and Eero playback Issues

I have a rather large Sonos system hooked up in a smaller NYC apartment. The apartment is broken into about 4 smaller bedrooms however there are speakers dispersed throughout the entire setup. Several Sonos ones, 100s, 300s, 3 subs, an arc, bookshelf speakers and a boost. The speakers play subpar using Airplay, often dropping or not connecting at all. I then use the Sonos app to stream Apple Music and while it’s better it still has connectivity problems at times. It’s disappointing because I would like to use my HomePods in tandem with the system taking advantage of Siri and even a more dispersed sound. I’m frustrated because I invested thousands of dollars into the system and it does not play as intended and to make it worst I keep trying alternate options like purchasing extenders, upgrading the router, etc. Switched out most of the existing HomePods to Sonos thinking that would resolve the problem because I felt Sonos didn’t not play well with HomePods. Same Sonos app with my account on two phones

It’s a couple months that I can’t use Sonos on my iPhone and my wife’s one. Before I could use the app on my phone, listen to music with Spotify and control the same song on my wife’s phone. My wife could use the same app on her phone, without any problem. Now, if both apps are installed on both phones, I have ‘no connection to Sonos’, then follow the procedure using bluetooth and position, but at last I have no connection at all. If I deinstall the app on one phone, the app on the other one is working again. I hope I explained what happens. Is anybody able to help me? Thanks

Why don't SONOS Updates ever work?

As with most folks here, I’m mystified as to how poorly software update works. I’ve had Sonos equip for almost 10 years and it’s been 10 years of pain, with software updates constantly failing.

Is there a product enhancement roadmap - why should i invest more in the product if i cant see the future?

Have just spent many thousands of dollars on a full home SONOS setup?Many said it was simpler and easier… however is it better ? Multiple ARCs , AMPs , Subs and 8 pairs of high end 8 inch speakers. I have kept my previous full multi-room, multi-source home audio solution. The best thing i did was not to throw it out.Have managed to setup the two side by side throughout the house, the sound quality of the SONOS when trying to drive the new speakers is noticeably poorer compared to the previous 10 year old solution i was looking to replace/upgrade.So the question begs with a software driven solution. When will you be upgrading and improving? This is after all one of the main advantaged of been software and app driven. Should I continue to invest in the product suite…. your call !
