Sonos Controller for Android

Sonos now supports Android 4.0 operating system.

Sonos Controller for Mac

Sonos will support Mac OS X 10.8 when it is released.

Sonos Controller for Mac or PC

Reminder: The Sonos Controller apps for Mac and PC require Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and Windows XP Service Pack 3 or higher (including Vista or Windows 7). If you’re currently using an earlier version, be sure to upgrade your OS before downloading the Sonos 3.8 update.
We have made the following enhancements:
  • Transport bar (at the top of the app) has been brightened to make it easier to read.
  • Mini Controller can now be resized – simply enlarge or reduce by clicking an icon at the top of the mini controller window.
  • Better support for small-screen desktop and laptop computers.
  • Queue pane size can now be expanded or collapsed.
  • Folder-level music share support allows you to point Sonos to a specific music folder on your computer. For example, you can now point to the path: (//HostName/Share/Music/Artist/Album) rather than a whole shared music folder (//HostName/Share).

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 4.0 or later. Certain features may require higher versions of iOS.

ANDROID SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

Requires Android: 2.1 and higher. Certain features may require higher versions of Android.

MAC Software Requirements

  • Mac running OS X v 10.6.8, or v10.7, or 10.8.
  • Internet connection for access to Internet radio stations and online software updates (DSL, cable modem or LAN-based high-speed Internet connection recommended).

PC Software Requirements

  • PC running Windows® XP SP3 or higher, Windows Vista™, Windows 7, Windows 8.
  • 500 MHz Pentium class processor or better.
  • Latest Windows service packs recommended.
  • Internet connection for access to Internet radio stations and online software updates (DSL, cable modem or LAN-based high-speed Internet connection recommended).
