  • Versatile. Fits perfectly in tall and narrow, or short and wide spaces.

Listen in stereo.

PLAY:1 is our smallest speaker. So it’s a perfect fit for bookshelves, counters, and other snug places. So now you can enjoy great-sounding music wherever you want to listen.

Multiple orientations.

Stand it tall or set it on its side. Either way, PLAY:3 automatically optimizes the sound. When it’s horizontal, it’s in stereo. When it's vertical, it's in mono. The rubber feet on two sides make it safe for any surface.

One app. Complete music control.

The Sonos app helps you quickly search through all your services to track down your favourite music, play it and adjust the volume in different rooms throughout the home. You don’t even have to be in the same room as a speaker. And if your friends have the Sonos app, they can do the same.

      Comments about SONOS PLAY:3:

I returned mine to the store. Sound quality was excellent and the app worked great. However, it would not link with my iTunes on my Mac Pro though it would with my iPod and it would not play every track all the way through but would start skipping forward. Help desk gave advice which I followed but nothing worked. They seemed to suggest it was sensitive to neighbouring wifi which living in a large town was always going to be an issue and it doesn't have Bluetooth. After trying various suggestions for 4 weeks I returned it and will look at alternatives. Overall very disappointing

I love it it's the first time I have had such a rich sounding system that is so easy to control that the whole family can use it. And if I want I can make every room with sonos sound like it has a philharmonic orchestra in it one minute or a dirty inner city club the next.

            Comments about SONOS PLAY:3:

The thing (3 off speakers in 2 rooms) was bought as a present for us by our son. We have had it for 7 weeks and still not heard a complete piece of music from it. Quite simply there are no instructions for use. You have to be thoroughly conversant with the thing to be able to operate it. But you cannot be conversant with it until you operate it. Chicken & egg. The web site is totally useless since it is full of jargon. I am not technically challenged, I have an engineering degree and use a wide range of software.
