Beam to older aquos sharp 70” arc TV.

My tv is older but has hdmi1 arc connection. I’m only getting stereo pcm from any source I watch. Hulu firetv apple. Just tried optical hdmi connector. Still same. I was sure it was a tv setting issue but idk. Help!!

trueplay for Android users

When is sonos going to allow android users to perform trueplay? I shouldn't have to borrow or buy second hand ios device just to perform trueplay. Feels like discrimination just because I'm android user I'm limited to use sonos.

The Sonos app on iPhone doesn't detect the Sonos system (iOS 17.4.1).

Is there any issue with the Sonos app for users using iPhone 15 Pro with iOS version 17.4.1? The phone can't seem to find the system, whereas the iPad works fine and detects the system. Is this a problem with the app or the iOS version 17.4.1?

Using a Blu Ray player as a CD player - straight into 5s

Hi all. I’m trying to use my Blu Ray player as a standalone CD player. So not connected through a TV.As the blu ray has no left right RCA output I plugged in a DAC to the blu rays optical and the RCAs out to my 5’s input. I can see the Sonos app is getting a signal, but I have no sound. Do I need a pre amp as well??? Thanks

Sonos linking up to a Oled 65

Hi All I’m new here. I recently bought an LG 65 Oled TV, now originally I had an LG led 65, and worked perfectly well linking up with my Sonos playbar, sub woofer and 2 ones, all working well.It was linked via optical lead, and now the same set up on the Oled. Now I have no sound out of the Sonos, just the TV. I can play Spotify through the Sonos, but for some reason I can’t get sound from my Sonos system.

Not connecting to Tv

Hello, I purchased Sonos speakers four months ago, and I've had this problem ever since. My Sonos Arc, Sub, and Era 300 surround speakers are connected to my wifi network, and I have a Samsung Q7 Series 4K UHD QLED LCD TV. My TV speakers are connected to receivers when I'm watching something, not to the Sonos speakers I made.I've made several attempts to connect to Living Speakers, but each time it disconnects immediately. In the interim, my HDMI is connected to my Apple TV.

Grouping 4x era 100's

Hello,.I have a larger shed area that I have mounted 4x ERA100s, 1 in each corner. Is there a way to set these up so they are always grouped together. Currently I can only set up 2 and then i have to add/group the other 2 every time I turn the system on. Thank you.

TV connection Issue

I have had my Sonos Arc for a few years now and it has been perfect. Today when I turned on my Tv I wasn’t getting any audio at all. I unplugged both the Arc connection and the power for a few minutes and tried again, still nothing. To make sure it wasn’t the speaker I tried playing music through the Sonos app. Works great, but still not working with the TV as the source. It’s an LGCX tv.

Sonos era 300 wall mount free space

I have bought 2 sonos era 300 to sync with my sonos arc to be used as surround. I plan to put them on wall like in the photo. In the instruction it says there should be 20 cm from each side. On the right era 300, there is only 16 cm space from the wall picture. Will it effect the sound?

Sonos Era 100 not connecting to Sony PS-LX310BT Turntable via bluetooth

I recently bought two sonos era 100 speakers and no matter what I do neither one of them will connect to my sony PS-LX310BT turntable. I’ve had the turntable for awhile now and it has no problem connecting to other bluetooth speakers but they just won’t connect to my era 100 speakers.

Arc 2 Speculation

I am generally skeptical that an Arc 2 will come out any time soon, but the projected features are interested, and perhaps worthy of a discussion.1 - wireless content. I think this is a bit more complex that the author states. Not only does the TV or projector need to send the audio data (and control) wirelessly to soundbar, but it would need to have in built in controls over the timing to make sure audio and video are in sync. An HDMI dongle might be able to do this, but it would have to be on the source side, meaning you can’t use your smart TV apps for it, meaning you’ve still got to have wires.I tend to think wireless content is overrated anyway. The TV and the soundbar both need power cords, and I don’t think 2 cords is significantly better over 3.2- smaller size. I am not bothered by the Arc size. If your T

Alexa can't set volume of Sonos group

I figured out how to make a speaker group in the Sonos app, the only issue is when I ask Alexa to change the volume, it only changes it for the one that was activated using Alexa. I tried making a group in the Alexa app combining the speakers into one, but nothing happens.

Era 300 front driver off in surround - topics being closed

Just wanting an update on this topic. I see requests for this are going on a year old and all topics relating to it are being closed for comments. Is this a feature that is being worked on? I recently bought 2 ERA 300’s and now debating returning them after finding this out. Like others have said I paid for 6 drivers and want to be able to use 6 drivers. Is there any updates on this concern that many customers seem to share?
